Hilo Aquatic Club swimmers Zachery Suffern, Mira Chrysostomou, Emma Laliberte and Noah Kimura made their mark at the Hawaii junior age group long course championships in July on Oahu.
Kimura won the 13-14 points trophy with three victories, a runner-up and two third places; Suffern, 12, made one state qualifying time and was second in his age group; Laliberte swam three state times, placing sixth in 10-under; Chrysostomou, 14, was sixth in her age group.
